Hands2Help Charity Quilt Along

I received my 2 yards of fabric from my swap partner Sarah.  I've been busy looking at my books and magazines to come up with a 60 x 60 quilt pattern to use with this fabric along with some of my own stash.

Sarah, who is also the coordinator for this charity quilt would like us all to tell a little bit about ourselves.  So, I'm following Diane's post and doing the ABC's.  I've been following Diane's blog for sometime and that is how I came across this Hands2Help Charity Quilt.

  1. I love your ABC's of you!! Nice to know a little bit more about you. And when you're looking for patterns, remember that you can always take off a row of blocks or add a row to make a design square and 60 x 60. Look at the block size when you are reading a pattern and see how many it would take to come near to that size (you can always add a border to bring it up to size.) That's how we find our ministry quilt designs. I sent you some pdf files that may help you.

  3. Hi Cindy Lou! Thanks for stopping by my place this morning and saying hi! Yes, we are neighbors...I'm in East Cobb. Your work is beautiful. I wish I enjoyed sewing, but I get too frustrated (especially when the machine starts acting up!) ;-)

I thought I'd comment on this post since it was about you. I love the ABC's! I might just have to do it on my blog!

  4. I found your blog via Jillsy doing the Q&A. I like the idea of the Q&A thing but most of the time I don't care for many of the questions.
I thinking about making my own list of questions but I hate lists.
