Zippers

Whenever I would see a cute pattern for a purse or a pouch that I wanted to make, but it required a zipper - I just wouldn’t buy it.  I was overcome by panic; terrified.  Not now!!  I have mastered the ZIPPER!
Saturday I sat down and made the Cash and Carry pouch by Atkinson Designs.  I used Terry Atkinson’s easy method and now zippers are no big deal!

I  was so pleased with myself I went ahead and made a Peek-a-Boo Bag designed by Terri over at Sweet Treasurers.

I’m already thinking of the great Christmas presents that I can make for family and friends where a ZIPPER is required.  I better start ordering some patterns!
I’m linking up today for the very first time over at Karen’s at Sew Many Ways for her Sew Darn Crafty Linking Party!
