WIP Wednesday

Happy Wednesday!

Completed projects:

Baby quilt and burp cloths for a baby shower for my husbands cousin.

New project that I started:

I bought the Moda Home Collapsible Laundry Basket and am following the directions for the laundry basket liner over at Moda Bake Shop.   I still have so much to do on it that it probably will be on the back burner for awhile.

Still in progress:

Natural or Not Bee block for April
Stash Bee block for April
Craftsy.com BOM for April
Bloggers BOM for February and March
Atlanta Modern Quilt Guild BOM for March
QOV quilt using my Stash Bee Blocks - 6 more blocks to receive in the mail.

Even though I'm really behind in the sewing side of my life, my yard is up to date.  My husband and I put out the 80+ bails of pine straw over the weekend and I finished up the flower pots on the patio.

We are already in the mid 80's by the afternoon here in Atlanta so I'm going to take advantage of our cooler mornings (62 degrees) and having coffee and reading my favorite blogs on the patio before our mornings get hot.  I just love our patio but we don't get much use of it with the Atlanta heat we have.

Next week is my 1-year blog anniversary and I have a giveaway planned. So plan on coming back to visit me!

I'm linking up over at Freshly Pieced!

  1. such a nice looking home! I'd love a patio like that. I have a neat front porch that I love spending time on, but the deck out back is awful. I'd liek to rip it out and put in a patio! I used to live in memphis TN and can appreciate the heat you speak of, lol. cute baby projects :D

  7. Such a cute quilt! I am just catching up on all my blog reading. Now, I see what you meant about all your pine straw. You have a lovely home and yard. I am still looking forward to sitting on our deck this spring...still too chilly for that yet.

How did you make the burp cloths?
