Covert Robin

the covert robin button

I signed up in February to be part of the Covert Robin mystery gift exchange.  We all received the information for whom we will be sending a HOMEMADE gift valued at $20 to $30.
This is my first ever swap.  My person has a blog, she doesn't sew or do crafts, and she has 2 little ones.  I'm reading every post she has written so that I can get some hints on what she may like.   She won't be reading this as I'm not the person she is sending a homemade gift to.  I've been scouring my books for ideas and her pinterest site to come up with ideas.
Has anyone been involved in a swap and had this same situation on not knowing what in the world to make them?
Please advise!
Thanks!
Cindy

  2. A messenger bag or purse? It's hard to think of something in that price range for a non sewer!

  3. Hi Cindy,
Your work is beautiful. I've nominated your blog for a Liebster blog award, hopefully you accept. http://jeanette-stampingobsession.blogspot.com/2012/03/liebster-blog-award.html

  4. I think some sort of bad or zippy pouch is a great idea. Or you could get brave and make a framed clutch.

  5. Oh, that's a bit of a tough one. But since she is in the swap she obviously appreciates hand made things, so I'm sure whatever you send will be loved. I can always use zippy pouches, or maybe some of those drawstring bags from Jeni's tutorial?

  6. or if you go the way of something for the kids...crayon roll-ups or that cute toddler backpack tutorial Randi featured the other day would be great choices
